It has been 19 years since the formation of Indian Psychiatric Society- Jharkhand chapter which was started by a few handful of psychiatrists who endeavored to bring together the psychiatrists in and from Jharkhand. However, the society has been registered under the Society Registration Act 21, 1860 recently with efforts from the founder members of the society.
The Indian Psychiatric Society- Jharkhand chapter is committed to help psychiatrists share research and learn from their colleagues and peers across Jharkhand and beyond. The Indian Psychiatric Society- Jharkhand chapter has been organizing two annual conferences regularly and wish to further expand the work started by founder members.
